YuQing Jiang is a sophomore at Stanford University studying philosophy and political theory. Born in Shenzhen, China, YuQing moved to Napier, New Zealand at the age of nine. His academic interest lies in increasing critical inquiry on college campuses. At Stanford, YuQing works as a research assistant for the Deliberative Democracy Lab. He is also a columnist for the The Stanford Daily's Opinions section and serves as an editor for Intersect, the largest undergraduate journal on campus. Through IUCJ, YuQing hopes to expand his political horizon to international issues and utilise his expertise and experience to help foster greater global inquiry.
