Susan is a junior at MIT studying Mechanical Engineering with a concentration in Bioengineering and a minor in Public Policy. She is currently the co-president of the MIT China Development Initiative – MIT’s premier organization for promoting US-China relations – as well as the co-director of the upcoming IMUSE 2021, a student-run conference aimed at providing a platform for continuous engagement between students of the US and China.
Susan is passionate about applying her background in engineering and life science to tackle challenges in global health, international development, and public policy. Having lived in Beijing for six years a child, she is looking forward to being involved with the IUCJ and UCBRC to further enhance understanding and cross-cultural communications between the two nations.
