Designer Applications

Our Designers will help our authors tell their stories by creating graphics and illustration pieces to accompany their articles, as well as the cover of our upcoming fifth publication. Through our previous issues, our design team has provided original thematic pieces to help IUCJ tell its story in an appealing way. Their work has also played a role in supporting our journal’s marketing efforts. This is an unpaid position. Proficiency in the latest version of Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, or a similar creative program is required. Familiarity using Adobe InDesign is recommended. Feel free to reference our third and fourth volumes to examine our previously published work.

TO APPLY:

Kindly compile a portfolio of what you consider to be your best work, preferably in the realm of 2D graphic design and illustration. Provide at least 5-10 items for us to review. This can be either a folder of downloaded files or a link to a folder in the cloud (One Drive, Google Drive, Dropbox, etc.). Attach your portfolio and an updated resume in an email to admin@iucj.org. In your email, provide a brief introduction of yourself and state your interest in joining our team.
