Archived Biography:
Huiling Zhou is a first-year graduate student at Columbia University studying International and public affairs. Before returning to study, she previously worked at Reuters’ Beijing and Shenzhen bureaus. There, she reported on Chinese business news, including the floating of Chinese Concept Stocks on the U.S. market, in addition to companies in alternative energy, the internet, and other such sectors. From her own reporting and time spent as an undergraduate practicing in think tanks and consulting, Huiling found a deep interest in humanities, commerce, and energy within the U.S.-China relationship. When IUCJ was first founded, Huiling first joined as the Chinese-language managing editor. She hopes that her work will assist in building an international bridge for student exchange and further enhance U.S.-China bilateral exchange and understanding through person-to-person relations.
